GVN possesses in-depth expertise and experience in molecular biology, fermentation and protein purification for cost-effective large scale production of recombinant proteins. We have proprietary bacterial expression systems (BES) developed usingEscherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis in which over 10 recombinant proteins of different origins, functions and sizes have been produced. In BES, the recombinant proteins are excreted into the medium and, thus, enabling purification, and making it a simple and straight forward procedure. The end product, e.g. human epidermal growth factor, has been characterized to be pure, authentic, and toxin-free, and indistinguishable from one produced by our own body.
